Guiseley’s promotion bid has been boosted by the arrival of former Bantams loan striker Jason Price.
The 34-year-old has joined the Lions on a deal to the end of the season from League Two Morecambe after the Shrimps agreed to release him from his short-term contract.
The six-foot front man, who has a wealth of Football League experience at clubs such as Swansea, Hull City and Doncaster, will add vital firepower as Guiseley seek to climb out of the Blue Square Bet North.
Price, who played at City under Peter Taylor last season, set up Kevin Ellison for Morecambe’s late equaliser in the 2-2 draw at Valley Parade back in January.
Shrimps boss Jim Bentley said: “Jason is a fantastic character who was great to have around. Guiseley are doing well and made an enquiry about him and we have decided to allow him to join them.”
