Guiseley’s third team clinched the Ian Chappell Cup when they defeated Thackley by 26 runs.
The star of the show was Damon Reeve who took 4-11 in 8.1 overs as Thackley were dismissed for 129 in reply to Guiseley’s 155-5.
The Guiseley innings owed much to the determined efforts of opening batsman Michael Ibbetson who batted throughout the innings for an unbeaten 76.
Tom Pratt (22) and man-of-the-match damon Reeve (16) were the next top scorers.
Opener Kieran Shields made 53 for Thackley before becoming a victim of Reeve during his fine spell.
