GAVIN Hamilton hit a century to steer Guiseley towards a comfortable win over Horsforth and keep them in touch with the pack at the top of Aire-Wharfe League Division One.

With the help of an unbeaten half-century from James Davey, Guiseley set a 305-7 target, and Horsforth never looked likely to challenge that under the attack of Marcus Brown (4-49), Chris Wain (3-60) and Richard Nichols (3-4).

Guiseley, who are fourth, have 66 points, and above them are Beckwithshaw (77), Bilton (72) and Burley (67).

A century opening stand between Dave Hester (72) and Ben Morley (67) suggested that Otley were starting to find their form after a shaky start to the season.

And so it proved as Stephen Brown (5-61) helped bowl out North Leeds 99 runs short of Otley’s 276-8.

A century from skipper Charlie Bell and solid contributions from Ryan Sharrocks (47) and Sam Wilkinson (52) helped Pool reach 289-8 before a 7-59 haul from Dave Amos bowled out Burley for 253 - their first defeat of the season.

Will Spivey (107) and No 8 Paul Dover (46) battled hard but Ilkley never looked like catching leaders Beckwithshaw’s 327-6, which included 149 from Ross Sedgley.

Bilton are also unbeaten and proved too strong for Rawdon, despite the efforts for Andrew Doidge, who picked up three wickets and top-scored with an unbeaten 39.

A century from Sam Housam and a 5-48 spell from Henry Barrow were the highlights for Ben Rhydding, whose 56-run victory over Addingham leaves them as one of five sides with three wins at the top of Division Two.

Muhammad Khan took 5-39 but Hall Park still made 273-8, with Robbie Salerni (72) top-scoring.

That was enough to give Park their first win of the season because Mark McEneaney (3-56) and James Carlill (4-55) bowled out Tong Park Esholt for 230, despite a battling 96 from Danny Groom.

Steeton notched another win, John Akrigg (34no) seeing them past the post after Stephen Pearson (3-36) and Paul Hardwick (5-42) dismissed Calverley for 113.

Majid Inayat hit a century in 78 balls and put on 146 with Joseph Holderness (56no) as Skipton recovered from 15-2 to 253-5 but Kirkstall still managed to clinch victory with four balls to spare.

Thackley’s miserable start to the season continued, Yasar Ali (60no) and Alex Fox (71no) steering Follifoot to a seven-wicket win.

In Division Three, Bolton Villas clinched their first victory but not without a few scares along the way at New Rover.

With Sam Lawrence (3-22) and Michael Oldfield (3-42) restricting the home side to 167, everything looked set for Villas until a hat-trick from Will Pearson left them struggling on 25-5.

Fortunately Luke Stockhill (59) and Michael Clarke (64no) were on hand to repair the damage and take the points.

Olicanian came out on top of the clash of the top two at Saltaire when an undefeated 84 from Tom Smallwood eased them to 219-8.

Hammas Ul Hassan picked up 4-44 and then hit a half-century in Saltaire’s reply but Sajad Ijaz (4-40) ensured the home side were always just off the pace.

Harden blitzed Bardsey by 141 runs, thanks to Tom Cummins (93), Josh Brooksbank (75), Matthew Topham (49no) and a 5-28 return from Alex Antoine.

Menston also enjoyed a comfortable win, beating Alwoodley by 145 runs, Adam Montague-Millar being Menston's top scorer with 51 and Zarshad Khan taking 7-29.
