GUISELEY have announced the signings of Kofi Moore and Jake Forshaw on loan from Oldham Athletic.

The duo arrive from the Vanarama National League Latics on loan until the end of the season.

Moore has previously spent time out gaining experience with Workington since the start of the campaign and came off the bench for the Reds in last Saturday’s seven goal thriller at Nethermoor.

Moore is a 19-year-old winger who earned a senior contract with Oldham in the summer and played in the first team’s friendly at Hyde United in July.

Also joining the club is striker Jake Forshaw who signed a senior deal alongside Moore in the summer.

Forshaw has already spent time away from Boundary Park with loans at Colne and Farsley already under his belt this season.

The 19-year-old played alongside Moore in Oldham’s U18 side last season and scored 34 goals in 36 matches and his style of play is to be a physical presence.

In other news, Guiseley have confirmed that Danny Devine has left the club to sign for Gainsborough Trinity.

The 26-year-old midfielder arrived at the club in August and went on to make 13 appearances for the Lions.

Devine was initially signed on a non-contract basis and Trinity made a seven-day approach for him last week.

Despite the club moving to offer him a contract to remain at Nethermoor Devine has opted to reunite with Russ Wilcox who he worked with at Farsley Celtic last season.
Guiseley commented: “We thank Danny for all his efforts whilst with the club.”
