The 116th AGM of Otley Golf Club was held on Tuesday 31 January 2023.
After the business of the evening had been transacted, Steve Jex was re-elected as President and Steve Moorcraft and Jill Tushingham as Men’s and Women’s Captain respectively. All three promised to serve and represent the Club to the best of their ability.
On the Sunday following the AGM, a good number of members, family and friends enjoyed glorious sunshine to witness the Triple Captains’ Drive-In. Steve and Jill were joined by Junior Captain, Freya Power and all three hit decent drives down the middle of the fairway. Following the Drive-In, all members were invited to join the Captains for lunch.
The winners of the Captains’ Nine-Hole Shotgun Start competitions were:-
Men - K. Burton & C Wikeley 25 pts
Women - R. Corless & H. Heron 24 pts
