BRACKEN Ghyll Golf Club took centre stage last week, as they hosted the second Alliance competition of the 2022 Bradford Union season.
The year kicked off with the Baildon Alliance on February 23, before Bracken Ghyll hosted their event last Wednesday.
Laurence Doddy and Ian Livingstone from Northcliffe Golf Club pipped Gerry Pearson and Peter Jackson of West Bradford to the title.
Paul Hollindrake and Jason Proctor (Branshaw Golf Club), Mick Broadbent and Danny Broadbent (Fulneck) and David Burn and Steven Tosney (Skipton) rounded of the top five pairings.
The best pair from the home club, Bracken Ghyll, were Anthony Foulger and Stewart Airdrie, who finished 11th with a nett score of 39, five behind the triumphant Doddy and Livingstone.
