A YEADON nursery is having an Easter Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 8 to celebrate its recent refurbishment.

Cliffe House Private Day Nursery on Southview Road is holding the event from 11am to 1pm, in support of child bereavement charity Our Angels.

Entry is free and all are welcome. There will be an Easter egg hunt, Easter bonnet competition, cakes, greetings card stalls and more for local families to enjoy.

Children will also be free to explore the nursery’s outdoor area with its pirate ship, tyre swing, playhouses and tricycles, as well as playing indoors with the nursery’s large ball pool, sand tray and dens.

Nursery Manager Jenna Cockburn said: “The nursery is looking wonderful after our recent refurbishment, and we can’t wait to open our doors to the community so they can come and experience it for themselves.

“Easter is such a wonderful time for children, so we wanted to hold a free event that local families can really enjoy. There will be lots of fun games and prizes and an Easter egg hunt too.

“It’s a great opportunity to have fun with family, friends and neighbours, and maybe even make some new friends. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone on what promises to be a fun-filled day!”
