ILKLEY guides Kirsty Gregory and Louise Bloor have qualified as guide leaders.
Kirsty, 18, and Louise 19, have both worked through guides, young leaders and then their leadership modules to be fully qualified guide leaders and dedicate much of their time to helping other young girls to make the most of their time in guiding and to prepare them for an active and outward looking future.
Karen Hill, leader with the 5th Ilkley Brownie and Guide Units said: "Both are still active members attending most weeks, where work allows, to help teach and support the girls with badges and activities. They are also active members of the team and give their ideas for the Guides and run the meetings."
Louise attends Bradford University and in her second year of nursing training and Kirsty has just started teacher training at Leeds University.
