FOLLOWING the success of the first Afternoon Tea & Economic Update session held in May this year, a second session was held at Audley Clevedon in Ben Rhydding last week.

Set up by Sarah Siddons, who runs her own financial planning practice, this series has been launched she says to: “shed light on how to manage your money and create income in a period of volatility and low-interest rates.”

Sarah, a representative of St. James’s Place Wealth Management, added: “I feel very passionately about helping everyone to make the most of their money, especially in these turbulent times.”

Chris Cahill, a Wealth Management Consultant from St. James's Place, joined Sarah at Audley Clevedon to talk to the guests. He gave a realistic view of financial markets today and put into perspective the concerns surrounding the newly elected US President and the consequences of Brexit. He ended with a summary of Inheritance Tax, clarifying the much publicised ‘million-pound nil rate band’.

Sarah said: “I was extremely delighted to again welcome so many people to my Afternoon Tea session, and look forward to arranging the next one in the spring."
