FIRE crews rescued an elderly man who had driven down an embankment into a stream in Rawdon.
Crews from Idle and Rawdon, plus a technical team from Cleckheaton, attended a car park near Westfield Industrial Estate just after 1pm yesterday.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Fire Authority said they helped get the man from the car and he was taken by ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary for a check-up.
