Budding music stars and film-makers in the Otley and Yeadon areas are being urged to act fast and enter a high-profile Parliamentary competition.
Greg Mulholland MP (Lib Dem, Leeds North West) is hoping lots of creative constituents will take part in this year’s Rock the House and Film the House contests.
Sponsored by industry and supported by celebrity patrons, both competitions offer aspiring singers, bands and filmmakers the chance to have their work judged by experts – with lots of prizes, including festival slots, studio recording time and West End screenings.
Mr Mulholland said: “I urge all local musicians and film-makers to enter Rock the House and Film the House as soon as possible.
“The prizes are impressive and as all nominations will be judged by industry experts it’s a fantastic opportunity for exposure. The deadline is this Monday, so please check out the website and submit your application.”
