A missing woman has been found dead in a pond at a Guiseley beauty spot.
The body of the woman, who has not been named, was found in water at Nunroyd Park on Sunday as police searched for a 66-year-old woman who had gone missing earlier in the day.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to the park at 7.51pm in connection with a search for a missing local woman.
He added: “A short time later a woman’s body was pulled from the pond within the park and taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary.
“Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at hospital.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and the matter has been referred to the coroner.”
