ORGANISATIONS in Otley have again opened their doors as part of the ‘Welcome Spaces’ scheme.
There are now places to spend time for free from Monday to Friday every week. Welcome Spaces are at OAOP at Chippendale Centre, Otley Methodist Church, Otley Parish Church, The Core, The Bridge Church, Beech Hill Church and Otley Social Club. The scheme is being supported by Otley Town Council and local charity, Otley 2030.
The Welcome Spaces team is also planning to open a new Family Welcome Space in January 2024 until April. It plans to run a two-hour drop-in space at Otley Social Club, in Hollin Gate, for families with primary-aged children. They are looking for volunteers to help run the family provision on Thursdays from 3pm-6pm. For details contact: richard.hughes@otleytowncouncil.org.uk
