A NEW organisation called Aireborough Together held a very successful Volunteer Fair last Thursday at Guiseley Theatre.
Aireborough Together aims to make the local community of Aireborough aware of what voluntary and charitable organisations are available in the area and raise awareness of what is out there for local people to get involved in. Organisations with stalls at the theatre included Guiseley Theatre, Good Grief Guiseley, Yeadon Carnival, Season Well, Incredible Edible, Guiseley Senior Citizens, AVSED, Friends of Parkinson's Park, Dream, and Codswallop. There was a steady stream of folk interested in finding out more and signing up to be volunteers. Aireborough Together is considering organising another fair and networking event later in the year.
