TWO bucket collections at Tesco in Ilkley in December raised over £2,000 for a charity which helps the homeless in Leeds.
The two charity bucket collections took place on December 21st and 23rd and a fantastic total of £2,093.47 was raised in support of St. George's Crypt.
St George's Crypt Events Fundraiser Andy Sharpe said: "The great support from Tesco Ilkley and the local community during two Christmas collections in December, helped raised a fantastic £2,093.47 for St. George's Crypt.
"The amazing support enables us to offer care, compassion, and hope to the homeless, vulnerable, and those suffering from substance dependence, 365 days a year."
St George's Crypt is a Christian charity which has been providing care and support to homeless and vulnerable adults in Leeds since 1930.
