DRINK-driver James Matthew Wilson has been banned from driving for 22 months and ordered to pay £426 in fines and costs.
Wilson, 34, pleaded guilty to driving while over the alcohol limit on the A65 at Woomber Bridge, Gargrave, on June 5.
York Magistrates' Court, where Wilson appeared on November 1, heard how he had 96 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Wilson, of Hardisty Hill, Blubberhouses, was banned from driving for 22 months and was fined £307. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a surcharge of £34. If he completes a drink drivers rehabilitation course, his ban will be reduced by 22 weeks.
Wilson had originally been listed to appear at Skipton Magistrates Court on October 21 but he failed to turn up and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
