A BRANDON Hammond hat-trick helped steer Otley Town to their first win of the season in the West Yorkshire League Premier Division.
Town’s commanding 5-0 victory at Kirk Deighton Rangers was sealed with further strikes from Nicholas McNally and substitute Alex Yates at Barr Field last Saturday.
The victory ended a torrid start to the season of six successive defeats. It leaves Town in sixth place in the table and sees them above Kirk Deighton on goal difference.
Otley now look to build on this comprehensive victory when they travel to Baildon Trinity Athletic at Jenny Lane this Saturday.

Meanwhile, Pool are 12th in the Premier Division following a heavy defeat last weekend.
Pool crashed to a 4-0 reverse in their latest league clash at seven-placed Horsforth St Margarets.
