A REDEDICATION service for Otley Parish Church's newly restored bells will be held next weekend.
Led by The Reverend Graham Buttanshaw, the ceremony takes place at Otley All Saints at 2.30pm on Saturday, January 6 and will be preceded by ringing from 1.30pm.
After the service refreshments will be served in the Parish Room and the tower will be open for visitors to view the newly-rehung bells in the belfry, accompanied by members of Otley All Saints Bellringers.
Tower Captain Meg Morton said: "If the climb to the top of the tower is not one you relish, you will still be able to see the work that has been done in the form of a video made by Simon Miles during the refurbishment.
"This will be shown in the church before and after the service."
The restoration project, funded by money raised by the bellringers themselves with lots of community support, cost £28,565 and was completed in October.
