CHRISTMAS bin collection arrangements have been announced by Leeds City Council.
The authority, which serves Aireborough and Horsforth as well as parts of Wharfedale, is adopting the same approach as last year by pushing normal collection days back by a day or two.
Residents who usually have their bins emptied on Mondays will have them collected on Tuesday, December 27 and Tuesday, January 3 while normally Tuesday collections will take place on Wednesday, December 28 and Wednesday, January 4.
Wednesday collection dates will be pushed back to Thursdays, on December 29 and January 5, while households that usually have Thursday collections will be served on Friday, December 30 and Friday, January 6.
Friday collections will be held on Saturday, December 31 and Saturday, January 7 while normally Saturday collections will take place on Monday, January 2 and Sunday, January 8.
Residents, who are being sent postcards about the changes, are asked to put their bins out by 7am on the collection day.
