REMEMBRANCE services and parades will take place in Ilkley, Addingham, Burley-in-Wharfedale, Menston, Otley, Rawdon, Guiseley and Horsforth on Sunday.

The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Joanne Dodds, will be in Ilkley on Sunday for the service and wreath laying ceremony in the Memorial Gardens, at the end of The Grove.

The parade will assemble at 2.15pm at Whitton Croft Road (behind Ilkley Town Hall), and will depart for the Memorial Gardens at 2.40pm. The service and wreath laying ceremony will take place at 3pm.

In Menston, a short service and wreath laying ceremony will take place at Menston Cenotaph at 10.15am and services will take place at St John's Parish Church and Menston Methodist Church at 10.30am.

A service will take place at St Peter's Church, Church Street, Addingham, at 10.30am. The parade will set off from St Peter's to the War Memorial, Main Street, at 11.45am. The wreath laying ceremony will be at noon.

In Burley-in-Wharfedale, a service will be held at St Mary's Parish Church, Main Street, at 10.45am, following by a wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial, outside Burley Grange, at the corner of Station Road and Main Street.

In Otley the Town Mayor, Councillor Philip Bye (Lib Dem, Prince Henry's), is asking any organisations wishing to join the Remembrance parade to meet him at the bottom of Station Road at 1.45pm on Sunday.

The procession will set off at 2pm and make its way to the Methodist Church for the Remembrance Day Service, which begins at 2.30pm. Following the service the parade will reform and proceed to the Memorial Garden, on Bondgate, for the laying of wreaths.

Rawdon Parish Council has organised a Remembrance Parade and service for Sunday. The parade will leave the Emmott Arms car park and walk down Over Lane to the Remembrance Gardens on Leeds Road. There will be a brief road closure of the A65 to allow the parade to cross. Those wishing to join the parade should assemble at the Emmott Arms by 2.30 pm at the latest. The service will take place at 3pm and is open to the public. The uniformed organisations and schools have been invited.

There will also be a brief service of remembrance at 11am on Wednesday by the First World War Centenary Memorial stone at Littlemoor.

St Oswald's Church Guiseley will hold a Remembrance Day Concert at 6pm on Sunday. The evening of music, which features the church choir, will include Rutter's Requeim.

A Service of Remembrance will take place at St Oswald’s Church at 10 am on Sunday. A wreath-laying ceremony will be held at Guiseley Town Cross.

In Bramhope, a remembrance parade and service will take place on Sunday. The Remembrance Parade will set off at 10.55am from the village war memorial and will be followed by a service in St Giles Church at 11.15am.

In Yeadon on Sunday a service will take place at the Methodist Chapel at 10.30am followed by wreath laying at 11.30 am outside the Town Hall.

In Horsforth on Sunday the Remembrance Day parade sets off from outside McColl’s on Broadgate Lane at about 10 am, marching south down Stanhope Drive. The march travels to the Horsforth Cenotaph for act of remembrance at 11 am.
