PARK visitors in Otley and Yeadon can look forward to more free brass band shows this summer.
Tarnfield Park in Yeadon and Otley’s Wharfemeadows Park will stage two concerts apiece as part of Leeds City Council’s continuing Bands in the Park programme. In Otley the Yorkshire Bavarian Oompah Band will perform on Sunday, June 21, followed by Otley Brass Band on Sunday, July 19.
The Yeadon shows will feature Yorkshire Imperial Urquhart Travel Band on Sunday, June 7, and The Spa Quartet on Sunday, July 12.
Councillor Colin Campbell said: “The free concerts are a welcome summer diversion and following receipt of a grant from the Community Committee, they will be continuing this year.
All oncerts take place between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
