Irish dancers from Wharfedale and Aireborough are celebrating excelling at a festival.
The River Wharfe Irish Dancers came away with a haul of first, second and third places in the ‘Feis’ held at the Celtic Rose School of Irish Dance in Doncaster.
Sylvia Thompson, who runs the group’s classes in Guiseley and Otley, said: “This was a great achievement as for most of the girls it was their first time competing at a Feis.
“Top achievement on the day went to eight-year-old Eleanor Brady, who took the Championship trophy.
“Other notable first places went to Willow Woods, Lottie Nicholson, Hannah and Molly Collins, and Jessica Heyburn – to name but a few. The girls were fantastic and a credit to our little dance school.”
