Time is running out for voluntary and community groups wanting to apply for grants of up to £2,500 from a West Yorkshire Police trust.
The West Yorkshire Police Community Trust is a registered charity that helps groups within the county improve their neighbourhoods by providing grants.
The Trust was established in 1996 and since then has supported almost 600 groups through its grants.
And local groups are now being encouraged to get their bids in for money to support their cause.
And the theme of this year’s round is ‘Activities which discourage anti-social behaviour and criminality in 11-25-year-olds in West Yorkshire.’ All applications must be supported by your local Neighbourhood Policing Team.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, September 6 and the application form and guidance notes are available on the website – westyorkshire.police.uk/communitytrust For more details or to discuss your application contact the Community Trust on (01924) 292956 or go to the website at communitytrust@westyorkshire.
