Thank you for help after fall in street
I fell on the crossing in Brook Street, Ilkley, recently, and was amazed at the speed at which people rushed to my assistance. A gentleman on holiday from Cumbria was soon by my side. A lady made a pillow from scarves.
A shopkeeper brought serviettes to wipe my face. Others brought a duvet and blankets to keep me warm until the ambulance and police arrived. Everyone was so comforting and reassuring in my time of need. Thanks to you all for your kindness.
