SINCE their first production in 2010, BrassNeck Theatre have been bringing high quality theatre to local audiences.

From Footloose via The Full Monty, Calendar Girls, Spamalot and Rock of Ages to The Wedding Singer, the quality of BrassNeck’s cast and creatives has shone through.

Their latest offering Into the Woods will be presented next week at Yeadon Town Hall (May 15-19).

Stephen Sondheim’s wonderful family tale of the journeys we all must take through life, and whether happy endings do exist, using Fairy Tale characters as it’s protagonists, was made famous by it’s all star cast in a recent Disney film headed up by the likes of James Corden, Meryl Streep and Johnny Depp.

Although BrassNeck can’t promise you Hollywood stars, they have assembled an outstanding cast of local talent.

Professional actors Laura Judge, Richard Lloyd and Nigel Passey perform alongside BrassNeck regulars Ben Tomlinson, Andrew Walton and Anna Riley; actors who are all regularly seen in productions across our region.

Indeed, everyone in the cast is highly sought after and right at the top of their game.

Once again, they are led by the inspiring direction of BrassNeck resident director, Royston Bayfield.

As always, BrassNeck are not doing things the easy way and the concepts they are employing to tell the story of Into the Woods will wow everyone who is lucky enough to see the show.

Without giving too much away, each cast member will be using iPads!

There’s also an unbelievable video wall on stage as well as a see-through cow and chicken made from electric wires and computer parts!

Once audiences have seen a BrassNeck show they return again and again.

The company have built up a loyal fan-base who absolutely love the shows.

Just look at some of the comments left on their website by audience members: ‘I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed a show so much, that I wanted to go a second time!’ Spamalot’.

Into the Woods will be performed at Yeadon Town Hall from Tuesday 15th – Saturday 19th May at 7.15pm each evening Tuesday to Friday and 6pm on Saturday.
