WE’VE got our very own whodunnit under the roof of Ilkley Cinema, as from November 24 to 30, we bring you the highly anticipated murder mystery, based on the Agatha Christie classic Murder on the Orient Express.

Legendary Detective Hercule Poirot is called away from his much-needed vacation to solve a case in London, and so boards the luxurious cross country train, The Orient Express to take him home. Upon the train, American businessman Samuel Ratchett pleads to Poirot for assistance, fearing for his own life as he suspects someone is plotting to kill him. Poirot refuses, and Ratchett heads on his way. That night, while the snow falls unassumingly and innocently, a murder has been committed.

The passengers awaken to find their train has been derailed by an avalanche and that one of their party has been murdered. With each passenger having a motive to kill the wretched businessman, every single one of them is a suspect. With nowhere to run, Poirot takes the case into his professional, skilful hands, as he races against time to find Ratchett’s killer before they strike again.

We also bring you David Hockney at the Royal Academy of Arts for another week of stunning pictures and paintings, intimate interviews with the great artist himself and an insight into what makes Hockney tick, as he enters into his eighth decade, with absolutely no signs of slowing down.

Finally, this weekend brings a Kids’ Club film with more sparkle and rainbows than a unicorn and fairy’s joint birthday bash! My Little Pony: The Movie sees a dark force conquering Canterlot, the capital of Equestria, and the place the Mane six call home. So, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity embark on an unforgettable journey beyond Equestria where they meet new friends and exciting challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship to save their homeland.
