AIREDALE Symphony Orchestra will give their first concert of the new season on Sunday, November 13 at King’s Hall in Ilkley.
The 3.30pm performance by the group of musicians from around the area will feature Dvorak’s Violin Concerto in A minor when the orchestra will be joined by soloist Galya Bisengalieva.
A spokesman said: “With music by Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky, and Schumann’s Symphony No 1 in the second half, this promises to be wonderful afternoon of music.”
The programme features Mendelssohn’s Ruy Blas, Dvorak’s Violin Concerto in A minor, Tchaikovsky’s Polonaise and Waltz entitled Eugene Onegin, and Schumann’s Symphony No 1 in B flat Spring.
Tickets cost £12 for adults, £10 and £6, concessions, and are free for under-11s.
