OTLEY Courthouse is looking forward to hosting "a great month of music" in October.

Award-winning Celtic folk-rock outfit The Roving Crows will kick proceedings off with a show on Friday, October 3.

The performance starts at 8pm, with doors open from 7.15pm, and advanced tickets are available priced £10 or £8.

The following week, on Monday, October 13, Faustus - one of English folk music's most distinctive bands - will take the stage, again at 8pm. Advanced tickets cost £12 or £10.

Then on Saturday, October 25, the venue will welcome My Darling Clementine, a duo whose reputation for delivering spectacular live shows featuring classic country duets is growing fast.

The band, who have just released their second album, The Reconciliation, will play at 7.45pm and tickets cost £10 or £8.

Attractions at the Courthouse this month, meanwhile, include the return of children's creative art classes Art Stars this weekend, with the first session running from 10am to noon on Saturday, September 6.

Visitors on the following Saturday, September 13, will be offered free guided tours of the building between 10am and 4pm, as part of its Heritage Open Days events.
