WEST YORKSHIRE LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION
Pool 3 Huddersfield Amateur 1
POOL kept their West Yorkshire League Premier Division survival hopes alive as they produced another good display to take bag three more points.
They got off to the perfect start when Huddersfield failed to clear and Josh Waite scoring from close range.
It was Waite again who doubled his and Pool’s tally, this time low and hard from long range.
An unfortunate bounce from a high ball then gifted Huddersfield a goal to make for a nervous second half.
Despite a handful of chances for both teams, neither could capitalise until substitute Josh Wagstaff volleyed home from just inside the area for a cracking goal worthy of securing victory.
