GUISELEY have confirmed that Danny Taberner’s contract has been cancelled by mutual consent and the goalkeeper has left the club with immediate effect.
The shot stopper arrived in the summer having won multiple awards at Runcorn Linnets after the departure of Cam Mason.
The former Rochdale man was not named in the squad in Saturday’s season opener at Hyde United with Brad Wade wearing the number one shirt.
Wade is now firmly expected to make the no1 spot his own, albeit with the anticipation of competition.
