THE Yeadon Guiseley Motor Club staged the fourth event in the Wulfsport A.C.U. Championship on Sunday at Addingham Moorside.

66 competitors in four different classes rode a three lap twelve section event, and the rain held off until 4:00 pm by which time the majority of the competitors had completed the course.

Only five competitors contested the title class under Trial GB format. Victor was York M.R.S. Sherco teamster Jack Peace who beat Truro’s Toby Martyn and brother Dan Peace.

The Trial GB course was hard while the Trial Two and Trial 125 routes were more forgiving. Leeds teenager Harry Hemingway stormed the class to beat Welsh Champion Iwan Roberts and Buxton youth Harry Turner.

Trial 125, on the same course as the Expert route, was won overall by George Hemingway, younger brother of Harry. Kirkcaldy competitor Jamie Galloway snatched second place from Skipton’s Alfie Lampkin. British champion Emma Bristow won the Expert class from Bradford builder Charlie Smith and Menston’s Sam Beecroft Penny with Dan Thorpe fourth after a tie-breaker decider with Sam.
