GUISELEY have confirmed that Andy Henson has been appointed as their new First Team Physio.

Henson has racked up plenty of experience both in and out of football and has degrees in Sports Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy.

He started his physio career with Chesterfield where he worked for a year with The Spireites’ first team.

The new Guiseley man then spent two years working with The Lions' new assistant manager Danny Forrest at Silsden.

Most recently he was Head Physio for both Port Vale and Doncaster Rovers’ academy as well as working with GB Medics at their international competitions.

He currently works as a First Contact Physio within a GP Practice, a role which he will undertake alongside work with Guiseley's first team.
