FOR sixty minutes, the game between Otley Town and Featherstone was well in the balance, before Town turned on the heat to claim a 6-1 victory.

Featherstone's centre back had been treading a fine line throughout when he spoke out of turn one time too many for the ref and was given ten minutes in the sin bin. This was the turning point in the game.

It was as if someone had switched on a light for Otley, as they proceeded to score six goals without reply in the final third of the game.

The goals came from Pete Long, Mark McGee with a hat trick, Bobby Neesam and Jack Richmond.

There were several candidates for Man of the Match- notably Pete Long and Jonathan Jackson, who had fine games but it would be hard to deny three goal McGee the award.

Town face Rawdon Old Boys in the Wharfedale FA Challenge Cup Final at Guiseley's Nethermoor Park on Sunday at 2pm.
