Bella McDonald
AN Ilkley girl has won two silver medals in the British Indoor Rowing Championships.
Bella McDonald, who lives on College Drive and goes to Bradford Grammar School, competed in the British Indoor Rowing Championships on December 4.
As a result of the pandemic, the event was virtual and Bella competed at Bradford Amateur Rowing Club against competitors from all over Britain as well as from Australia, USA and Russia.
In the J14 class timed trial (four minutes) she won silver with a personal best of 1073 metres.
In the 500 metre class she again won silver in a time of 1.43.3 (The gold medal time being 1.43).
