THE FA Youth Cup returned on Tuesday evening and it was promising star Josh Stones who once again stole the show for Guiseley's young guns against Rochdale.
Under the Nethermoor lights, it took 21 minutes for the hosts to break the deadlock.
Stones, the inform man latched on to a loose ball before smashing a shot into the net for the opening goal of the night.
However, Dale did find a way back into the game and they certainly deserved it.
Guiseley were slightly flat throughout the first half and they conceded a penalty on minute 39, which Peter Thomas put away for the away side.
The Lions stepped up their game after the interval, but the winner came in dramatic fashion.
In front of 295 Nethermoor spectators, Stones secured Guiseley's second round spot after latching onto a through ball in stoppage time, before firing another shot beyond the helpless Rochdale keeper.
