GUISELEY have sorted out their goalkeeping conundrum by signing Brad Wade up for another loan spell from Sky Bet League One team Rochdale.

Originally, the young keeper was a January deadline day loan transfer last season when Marcus Dewhurst was recalled by Sheffield United. Wade went onto make seven appearances, keeping three clean sheets.

The Gloucester-born player was raised in Chorley and was associated with Manchester United from the age of 10. After a spell with Blackburn Rovers, Wade joined Rochdale at the age of 16.

He signed a professional contract with Dale in the summer of 2018, which was recently extended until 2022.

The stopper has featured in three FA Youth Cup campaigns, as well as, being a vital part of the Rochdale side that lifted the 2019/20 EFL Youth Alliance League North-West title.

Like Dewhurst, Wade is a striker turned goalkeeper. Prior to joining the Lions, the 20-year-old was on loan at Barrow.
