IT was a tight contest in the four-ball mixed competition at Otley Golf Club, in which only one point separated the winners and third place.
S. Fordham and M. Warren took home the title on 40 points followed by J. Thorpe and B. Stockdale, and G. Mowat and F. Forfar who both finished on 39.
A generous contribution was made by all to the captains’ charity, Otley Action for Older People.
David Horn and Jean Graham were the respective winners of the men’s and women’s Centenary Competitions.
Andy Slater (40) was the overall winner of the hole in one competition, with Dave O'Halloran (38) and Tracey Batty the best runner ups.
Sion Blears maintained his recent run of form when he won the Stableford before Jonjoe Boswell bested the junior Stableford.
