CLUB captain Hamza Bencherif and star forward Kaine Felix have been offered new deals, as Guiseley have issued their retained list for the 2020/21 season.

Last week, it was announced that the Lions had finished ninth, narrowly missing out on the play-offs by two points, after the Vanarama National League North was decided on a points per game basis.

The experienced Bencherif has been a great leader since joining Nethermoor last summer, while Felix filled the void left by former top scorer Aaron Martin's departure by netting double figures last term.

The pair join Kennedy Digie, Jamie Spencer, Andrai Jones and Prince Ekpolo in all being given a chance to stay on. The club can also confirm they have taken up the option to extend defender Nathan Newall's contract by another year.

Guiseley are looking to sign up a number of their younger players for next season. Gabriel Johnson, George Cantrill, Reiss McNally, Aram Soleman, Brad Nicholson, Declan Lambton and Will Thornton are all negotiating new deals.

Despite not being offered contracts, Jed Zanos, Scott Smith, Aleks Starcenko, Dylan Barkers and Tabish Hussain have all been given invitations to try to impress in pre-season.

Goalkeeper Lloyd Allinson joins loanees Chris Sang, Harry Sheppeard, Brad Wade and Lee Shaw in departing the club.
