OTLEY Athletics Club have had some impressive recent runs.
Only three weeks after competing in the Berlin Marathon, Scott Harrington led the way for Otley AC at the Yorkshire Marathon in York finishing 13th in an impressive 2:29:15.
This time would have gained him fourth place last year, showing the quality and quantity of the elite runners this year.
Also competing for Otley were Chris Chambers, 478th in 3:17:34, Tom Dyson, completing his first marathon, 1004th in 3:33:02, Victoria Binks 1403rd in 3:52:18, Gilly Wight 1644th in 3:55:03, Hannah Lupton 3590th in 5:01:20 and Billy Rayner 3677th in 5:07:57.
Gilly Wight got a personal best while Lupton and Rayner were just happy to finish due to restricted training following injuries.
