Bearpark wins Men's Seniors' Trophy at Otley
ON another busy week at Otley Golf Club, Ian Bearpark won the Men’s Seniors’ Trophy with 39 points.
Conditions were more difficult for the Men’s Stableford, played a day earlier.
Results were: Division One - G Taylor (12) 37 points, R Stephens (5) 36, D Thompson (8) 35; Division Two - C Oldham (15) 39 points, K Connolly (14) 38, T Lewis (13) 38; Division Three - G Norris (27) 34 points, J McGhee (21) 33, S Moorcraft (20) 31.
The winning teams in the ladies Team of Three Stableford were: 1st J Monkman, J Tushingham and K Llewelyn – 76 points, 2nd R Copley, M Ainsley and J Thorpe – 74 points, 3rd S Fordham, M Parker and R Edwards – 71 points.
Val Wray won the nine-hole stableford with 13 points.
