ANOTHER busy week at Otley Golf Club concluded with the 7.30am Dawn Chorus shotgun start event.

This is played annually with the golf being followed by a glass of Bucks Fizz and a full English with a good number of the competitors being joined by other members to watch the final round of the Open.

The winning team of Dave Allister, Terry Rocket, Tony Windle and Kevin Connolly kindly donated their winnings to the Captains' Charity.

The calming influence of Holy Island and surrounding areas appeared to have remained with Kevin Reid as his impressive total of 41 points was the highest number of points amassed in the July Stableford competition.

The Ladies’ Medal was played in conjunction with the Final Medal and the names of Julie Ettenfield, Ritsuko Corless and Fee Porter will be added to the honours boards as the respective winners of the Silver, Bronze and Copper Divisions.
