THE 2019 TB T20 Cup is well under way.
Just six Aire-Wharfe Cricket League teams are contesting this year's tournament with semi-final spots to be decided after Thursday night's matches.
In round one, Ilkley and Pool played out a thriller with the home side, Ilkley, winning on the last ball.
Pool had made 173 in their 20 overs, led by a superb 105 from Ed Brown, as Chris Quaife spun his way to 3-23 for Ilkley.
Nick Cockcroft then led Ilkley to the win with an excellent 45no.
Newcomers Saltaire hosted Addingham and could only muster 124-7 batting first.
Danish Hussain hit 32 whilst Ted Haggas took 3-17.
Addingham cruised to victory with just five wickets down, as JH Johnson made a crucial 44 runs.
In round two, holders Otley welcomed Saltaire and an upset was on the cards as they restricted Otley to a meagre 129-8.
Usman Munir and W Rasheed both took three wickets for Saltaire with only David Hester (54) making a score of note.
Jib Malik (49) and Saj Ali (42no) then helped Saltaire to an easy six-wicket win.
Burley got off to a winning start beating visitors Ilkley by 23 runs.
Ryan Cooper's half century helped Burley post 151-9 and despite a good 48 from Ilkley's Andy Rhodes, Ilkley never quite got going, finishing on 128-4.
The group stage ends this Thursday evening and all is to play for in both groups.
The matches are Pool v Burley and Addingham v Otley.
