A FULL field of men at Otley Golf Club entered the qualifying round of the Waite Cup with the top 32 progressing to the knockout stages.
Neill Rayland was the top qualifier with the final qualifier being Rob Harper.
The top three places were: N Rayland (17) 66, W Clough (15) 68, F Power (6) 68.
Results of the Ladies Prize Day Reverse Waltz competition were: 1st C M Ainsley, C Hardaker and H Dixon – 92 points; 2nd K Parker (23), F Power (32) and K Llewellyn - 76; 3rd I Denmark (23), S Sunderland (14) and R Corless (34) – 76.
The team of J Jex (54), P Pick (34) and V Wray (32) won the Nine-hole competition with 34 points.
Chris Fortes won the well-supported Midweek Stableford with 39 points.
A countback decided the runners-up berth after Mike Ward and Terry Rockett had both finished with 37 points.
