LIVERPOOL'S James Milner was sent off last Saturday by his former teacher at a primary school in Horsforth.
The experienced Liverpool midfielder was given his marching orders by referee Jon Moss, who was Milner's PE teacher at Westbrook Lane Primary School.
Milner, 33, was dismissed late on after picking up a second yellow card for a foul on Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha.
Milner (pictured) was playing in the game as an emergency right-back rather than his usual midfield role because of injuries.
Despite the sending off, Liverpool went on to win 4-3 and remain at the top of the Premier League.
Following the game, a picture emerged on social media showed Moss with the youth team in which Milner played.
Moss taught Milner about 20 years ago.
