OTLEY Golf Club gent’s captain Andy Harm and head professional Steve Tomkinson, as one of the top ten qualifiers from the 490 nationwide that had originally entered the Sky Caddie PGA Pro-Captain Challenge, headed off to Majorca to compete in the final.

After 27 holes of the two-round final, Andy and Steve led the field but were beaten after succumbing to two birdies on the final two holes. Although disappointed, their second-place finish was commendable.

Not to be outdone, Andy’s son, Alex, last year’s Junior Captain at Otley, once again qualified for the final of the European Junior Open. This is another event covered by Sky and Alex has been asked to be the North of England Ambassador for the finals.

In other Otley Golf Club news, the Captain and Pro’s competition was played as a 4-Man Team Stableford.
