ATHLETICO, Calverley United, Field and Salts all booked their semi-final place in this season's Bradford FA Saturday Senior Cup.

Athletico were pushed all the way by visitors Hunsworth before edging the tie 5-4, with Mohammed Qasim, Abeed Jawad, Shad Abbas, Shummell Uddin and Mohsin Arfan scoring for the winners.

Dale Wright, with a treble, and Kieron Senior replied for Hunsworth.

Calverley were taken to a penalty shootout after their visitors Field Reserves matched them goal for goal to end the game at 3-3.

Simon McQuiston (2) and Tom Hird were on target for United, while Liam Charles (2) and Glyn Hirst netted for Field before Calverley won the shootout 5-4.

Field's first team had better luck, just edging their home tie with TVR United as Josh Milner and Kieron Suddards scored for them before Danny Hussain netted a consolation for the visitors.

Salts found their shooting boots in their home game with Thackley, with Harry Naylor bagging four in addition to one each from Jamie Birchall and Rob Barraclough, in their 6-2 victory.

Jamie Underdown and Joe Storey scored at the beginning and end of the first half for Thackley.

Semi-final draw: Calverley v Athletico, Field v Salts. Matches to be played at a neutral venue on dates to be decided.

Route One Rovers had to come from 3-1 down at home to Harrogate League side Bramhope in the first round of the Wharfedale FA Cup to win 4-3.

Jackson Walker, Leon Redman and Ryan Lill had put Bramhope in charge before Danyal Yasin, with two goals, and one apiece from Shoab Iqbal and Usman Hussain gave Route One victory.

Littletown, the holders of the Heavy Woollen FA Cup, had a comfortable 5-0 victory in the second round of this season's competition at Norristhorpe. Joe Jagger’s two goals were complemented by strikes from Jack Lewis, Callum Meade and David Paul McDonald.

In the Halifax FA Cup there were mixed fortunes for the two West Riding County Amateur League teams.

Ryburn United advanced with a 4-2 home win over Greetland, while Ovenden West Riding slipped to a 5-0 defeat at Sowerby Bridge.

Lower Hopton claimed one of the semi-final spots in the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division Cup with a 1-0 victory over Lepton Highlanders, thanks to a second-half strike from James Heeley.

With only two league games possible, Premier Division leaders Golcar United extended their advantage with a 5-2 victory at Toller FC, with Bobby Cox and Alex Hallam both grabbing two goals apiece and Josh Lang also weighing in for the Huddersfield side. Kamron Khan and Taweed Ahmed replied for the hosts.

Steeton Reserves took advantage of poor defending to beat PFC 6-3, with Will Knight (2), Jack Richmond, Greg Hudson, Brian Newall and Josh Debenham on target.
