THORNBURY have returned to the top of the Dales Council League's B Division.

They made 222 at Daleside Road, an innings that was dominated by opener Yassir Abbas, whose 132 contained 14 fours and six sixes.

Thornbury then held Cookridge B to 160-8.

Meanwhile, Mayfield were toppled for 85 (Zaib Ali 4-20) by Halifax Direct B, who had made 108 (Richard Allen 5-37) at Mayfield Terrace.

Adel scored over 360 for the second week in a row, making 363-8 at Church Lane, with John Stringer (173 not out off 121 balls, including 15 fours and 11 sixes) and Chris Moseley (49) adding 115 for the third wicket against seven-man Muff Field, who were castled for only 63.

Pudsey St Lawrence made 169-9 (Keith Marsden 51) at Fulneck before bowling out Baildon for 129 (John Lovatt 58, Tom Frankland 5-27), while Drighlington B were bowled out for 155 at Station Road by St Chads Broomfield, who replied with 157-3 (Joe Creswell 88).

The low score of the day went to Pudsey Congs, who were skittled for 33 (Imran Mahmood 5-17, Karthaveeryarjun Vinjamoori 4-11) at Gledhow by Leeds Sikh B, who won by 10 wickets.

The top two in C Division met at Low Springs, where hosts Tong Park Esholt were bowled out for 147 (Simon Hogan 46, Aniket Bhatt 5-38) by One Stop, who replied with 151-1, with openers Syed Abbas (73) and Adil Mehmood (64no) putting on 108.

Morley climbed back to second at Sandal where they bowled out Baildon B for 127 (Samuel Holmes 41), with skipper Richard Thompson taking 5-23, before replying with 133-3 (Tom Audsley 62no).

At Salts, Shipley Providence made 198 (Ali Shahid 42) and then dismissed Mayfield for 56 (Rajakrishnan Rajadurai 4-6).

Leeds Caribbean B made 293 (Shamnaz Aksan 76) at Sunnybank against nine-man Muff Field B, who were bowled out for 100 (Waqar Ahmed 4-23).

In A Division, Leeds Sikh continued their winning run at Smithy Lane by making 280-6, with Harpal Ryatt scoring an unbeaten 112 before bowling out Cookridge for 155 (Harcharan Seehra 6-38).

Thornbury lost second spot after being bowled out for 138 (Muhammad Faisal 5-38) by Woodhouse, who replied with 139-4 (Taimoor Aziz 63) at Meanwood Road.

New Wortley moved into fourth after scoring 176 (Josh Sturgess 4-45) at the Roundhay Oval and then dismissing Drighlington for 121 (Muhammad Sadiq 4-4).

There was no joy for Bradford Moor at the Karmand Centre as they could only make 124 (Ansar Mehmood 4-45), Halifax Direct replying with 126-3 (Asad Rashid 56no) to continue their climb up the table.

Farsley are still struggling, however, being castled for 72 (Shan Khan 4-13) by Leeds Caribbean, who made 76-1 (Wesley Bell 51no) at the Scott Hall Oval.
