GUISELEY joint-manager Russ O'Neill says his side face a tough start to the new season.
The Lions will travel to Boston United in their opening clash of the Vanarama National League North season on Saturday, August 4. They will then host a league double header against Chorley and AFC Telford United on August 7 and 11 respectively. These matches are part of a busy first month of the campaign, as they face seven games in August.
Guiseley.
The traditional festive double header will see the Lions host Bradford Park Avenue on Boxing Day with the return fixture on New Year’s Day, a clash with Altrincham at Nethermoor is sandwiched between those two fixtures.
Guiseley end their campaign with a trip to Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday, April 27.
O'Neill said: "The first three games will be tough for us, but any games will be this year.
"It will be tough and the teams that get off to a good start will do well with a big chunk of the new season over with in August."
