ILKLEY'S Richard Tukes has won a gold medal at the British Wrestling Championships in Wrexham.
The 37-year-old heating engineer, who is a member of Bradford Amateur Wrestling Club, won the under-127 kg category.
The club sent five competitors to Wrexham, and all of them won a medal – two golds, two silvers and a bronze.
Coach Jimmy Hawthorn said: "My wrestlers have worked really hard and deserved their medals."
