Mansfield Town midfielder Kevan Hurst has today been signed by National League side Guiseley on loan until the end of the season.
The 31- year-old Chesterfield-born player has a wealth of Football League experience behind him having started his career as a youth with Sheffield United.
The 6ft tall player had loan spells at Boston United, Stockport, Chesterfield and Scunthorpe before joining the latter in 2007.
He made 66 appearances for them before moving on to Walsall and then Southend prior to joining Mansfield in 2016.
Guiseley have no game this Saturday as their scheduled opponents Sutton United are playing Leeds United in the FA Cup so Hurst will have to wait for the away game at Wrexham on February 4 for his debut.
